2009 Murder Breakdown

2009 December 27
by teammurder

“Yes Bro” is the only thing I can think of when it comes to 2009. It’s been a really awesome year not just for me but for TEAM MURDER. Since getting an official team and the kits it seems like Murder has just gotten more reputation and popularity!

Being in Boston for the NACCCS (North American Cycle Courier Champs) and seeing my good friend Chas take 3rd over all in the main race was pretty rad, and also for being my first NACCCs it was an experience I won’t ever forget, but not the last! I will be reppin Murder in the ATL in 2010 dont you worry!

In Japan for the CMWC (Cycle Messenger World Champs) I was lucky enough to represent Murder and show that SF doesnt play around when it comes to globe trotting events!  Sarah Murder won the skid for the ladies. Chas was the only messenger in the main race to pick up all 50 packages in the time that allowed for the race! I wasn’t so lucky being DQ’d during the qualifying round…. IT WAS MY FIRST WORLDS! ha, but still sooo much fun! The people I met and hung out with was something I will never forget, and again not the last worlds Murder will be killin it in Guatamala in 2010 dont you worry!!

All fun times but right here in San Francisco Murder has been holding it down in the local alley cats! After coming on with Murder I have raced in  numerous races and showed my fellow competitors that if you go against Murder you might come up short! HA! Taking the win in the No Cassettes alley cat, MACAFRAMA “Make rent” alleycat,  Artcycle alley cat, and sharing the win with Chas in the Track or Treat alleycat.

Most recently, along with Sarah Murder, we showed the masses that hauling groceries and going fast in the Super Market Street Sweep is something that we in Murder can do with our eyes closed! haha Sarah took womens first in the Track bike category and I took first for mens in the road bike category.

So peace out 09..Whats up 2010! Murders ready for you and eager to kill more races, cities and countries!
